The word Al-Kafirun refers to “The unbelievers”, who did not believe in the oneness of Allah.

Al-Kafirun surah was revealed for non-believers who worshipped the other Gods rather than worship one Allah. So, this surah is the best guide for Muslims to have only believed in one Allah. Also, give the message to respond to anyone who does not believe in Islam and unity of the Allah.

Surah Al-Kafiron was revealed in Mecca. So, it is a Makki surah. Islam holds the ayats of this surah to be extremely precious. As you know, it is the 109 chapter of the Quran and the total number of verses of this surah is 6. This surah has its importance due to different reasons.

• Firstly, this surah gives a lesson to Muslims to have strong faith in their religion and Allah.

• Neither Muslims will worship their gods, nor will they worship the God of Muslims.

As I told you earlier, this surah was revealed in Mecca. This Surah was revealed for the following reason:

When some of the noble personalities between Qurayshi were invited to the Prophet (P.B.U.H) and advised that he should follow their religion and gods. And in return, they will also worship Allah and follow Islam. 

The main motive of Qurashis was to stop Prophet (P.B.U.M) from preaching Islam. Because they wanted no one to call their gods and religion false. So, in response, Allah revealed Surah Al-Kafirun for the guidance of Muslims and as an answer for disbelievers.

As the importance of Kafirun surah is huge in the Quran, likewise the benefits of this surah are numerous. Well, I am going to share how this surah is beneficial for us.

If you recite this surah, Allah will protect you from shaytan and shirk. Consequently, your faith in Allah and Islam will be stronger than others who don’t recite.

Reciting this surah before going to bed will ensure your safety the whole night. You will be safe from any negative energy and bad dreams.

If you recite this surah after every compulsory prayer, Then Allah will forgive. Not only you but also forgive your parents and children.

An additional benefit is that Allah provides numerous blessings to someone who recites the surah daily.

Your heart’s desire will come true if you recite this surah 10 times a day. No matter if it would be financial or personal desire. In short, this surah carries a package of benefits and blessings. So, we should take advantage of these blessings as Muslims.

The rewards which Allah gives you for reciting this surah are mentioned below.

• If you recite this surah daily Allah will include you in His dear people.
• In addition, if someone recites this surah and then dies, he will die as a martyr.
• Shaytan will never touch the person who recites this surah. Moreover, Allah drives away all the negativity from that person.
• One-time recital of this surah is equal to the recital of one-fourth of the whole Quran.
